Ann Elizabeth Calder Bell

November 23, 1939 - November 8, 2012

Tribute

Ann passed away suddenly on Friday, November 9, while recovering from a recent surgery. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, Ann followed her sister Helen and emigrated to Powell River where she met the tall, handsome John James Bell who became the love of her life. Although she had no children of her own, Ann was a loving mother and aunty to many. She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her family and her many friends, especially her close friend Irene.

Ann was predeceased by her husband John, mother Peg, father Bill, brother Robert and sister Helen.

Time for us to part now, we won’t say goodbye;

Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky.

Every waking moment, and all your whole life through

Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.

Just wish me to be near you,

And I’ll be there with you.

Relation: Friends

This Friday, the 23rd Ann would have celebrated her birthday. Ann, we are so sorry that you are no longer with us to wish you a Happy Birthday. We keep thinking about you and missing you lots. You were a beautiful woman and the most positive person we had ever known. Loved your family and friends. You dealt with your challenges yet you always took the time to listen and help others fight their battles. No matter how dark the days were you always saw sunshine. Your eyes always sparkled, you always carried a smile and loved to share a joke. And soon became the master baker at ECU 🙂
Happy Birthday Ann and may you rest in peace.
To the family…. It’s difficult to lose someone close to us, please accept our deepest condolences.
Dina and Frank Sirach
