Tribute
On January 27, we lost our dear mother Ann Thomas at 93 years of age. When she was 70 years old, Ann and her son Allan made a brave move to Powell River. She loved music and played harmonica with flair. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time at Willingdon Beach in all kinds of weather. It was her special place. She volunteered with Powell River Hospital Auxiliary and BC Schizophrenia Society. Ann was predeceased by her sons William and Charles, daughter Theresa as well as both husbands: Ralph MacDonald and Walter Thomas. In passing she leaves her children Barbara, Grace, Jean, Katherine and Allan, and son-in-law Jim Mutas. She also leaves her beautiful grandchildren Kristen, Sean, Michael, Ryan, Amanda and Jennifer, and her beloved great-grandchildren Ella, Cole and Jaxon. A warm thanks to Dr. Andreas and the staff at Willingdon Creek Village for their excellent care. Rest in peace, Ann, our mother and friend
