Tribute

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Annette Louise Spreeuw. Annette was born and raised in Powell River. She is survived by her parents Bert and Johanna Spreeuw, son Kyle, daughter Nikki, (her cat Cuddles), siblings Ed (Cathy) and Dianna, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Annette spent a few years in Burnaby and had her son Kyle in New Westminster Hospital. After returning to Powell River, she had her daughter Nikki. Annette had a passion for bookkeeping. She was a very organized person when it came to her work. She enjoyed going camping, spending every summer she could down at Inland Lake. She also liked gardening, going for walks and riding her bike. Annette was proud of her recovery and willing to be of service in any capacity. She shared her message freely and encouraged everyone “to be gentle.” She will also be remembered for her quick wit and outgoing personality. There will not be a service at this time. A private family gathering will happen in the spring.
