Annie-Marie Harris

Tribute
ANNIE-MARIE HARRIS (Nee Gibson) was born the youngest of three children and lived her whole life in Powell River, B.C. She loved her teenage years in Sea Rangers and made life long friends. She worked as a secretary at the wharf, before marrying and raising – 4 children. She was very active in the United Church and UCW, as well as singing in the church choir for 74 years. She was an active volunteer in town serving JP Dallas PTA, Scouts, Meals on Wheels, Moose lodge, Firehall #2, and Sea Fair. She loved the natural world, sailing and spending summers at Canoe Bay, then Okeover family cabins. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was pre Deceased by her husband Ken, daughter in law Linda French and granddaughter Crystal Brown. She is survived by her children Wendy (John Heathcote), Tom (Tatyana), Rob (Laura) and David Harris. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bryn (Jamie) Laidlaw, Eric (Hayley) Laidlaw, Karen (Lane) Heathcote, Jenn (Ryan) Weber, Ally (Daniel) Montgomery, Kenny (Christina) Harris, Katie (Sam) Harris, Lada Shkodina, Dasha Shkodina, Chris (Amber) Harris and Cameron (Cam) Harris and her great grandchildren Avery, Gabriel, Sarah, Kinsley, John, Ben, Olivia, Mimi, Sawyer, Laurissa, Lily and Levi and beloved Nieces and Nephews, Church Family and numerous friends
