Relation: I am his daughter. He will always be my dad.
I don’t know why you left. I will never know. I remember your smile, your laugh. I remember how you played the guitar and how you would bring home matel hot cars and always wished I was a boy. I loved when you would sing this land is your land. I loved when you cooked and played helicopter to feed me. You were smart and funny. I am sorry you never realized your potential or rather that others didn’t. I am wish I could tell you how much I still love you. Though I have not seen or heard from you in over 50 years . You will always be my dad. I have your temper, brains and cooking talents. Not sure what else but I think k I was lucky to be your daughter. I will always miss you and love you. I will tell myself that it wasn’t your decision to leave and that you did it for what you thought was the right reason. You’re my dad and I will always be your girl. Rest in peace papa.
