Arlo (Al) Stannard Liknes May 6, 1927 – December 1, 2018 Born in Coronation, Alberta It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our father Arlo. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years Barbara Liknes, his son Gene Liknes, and his sisters Leopal and Gloria. He leaves behind his two sons Graham A. Liknes and Paul A. Liknes, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dad was an electrician in the mill and an electrical contractor for many years in Powell River. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, darts and crossword puzzles. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at Powell River General Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, December 15, at St. David and St. Paul Anglican Church, 6310 Sycamore Street.
