Obituary

It is with heavy, heartfelt sorrows that our family announces the passing of Bram Burge Jr.  Bram was born on December 28, 1953, in Bishop Falls, Newfoundland and left us on the same date of 2020 at the age of 67 in Powell River.

Bram is survived and deeply missed by his wife of 44 years, Arlene, his three children Sarah (Allan), Kelly, Stacy (Ashley), his five grandchildren Lucinda, Ashley, Noah, Sydnie and Annabelle, his father Bram Burge Sr (Margaret, predeceased), his ten brothers and sisters, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bram will always be remembered for showing up and lending a helping hand whenever it was needed.  He was always busy doing something, be it falling a tree, cutting firewood, milling lumber, prawn fishing, running his excavator or skidder, going for a drive or just spending time with his grandchildren.  Bram was a great hunter with many yearly hunting trips – if there was a moose to be got, he would be the one to get it (or elk, deer, buffalo, bear, wolf – whatever he was hunting for).

Bram will always be loved.  Although he has left us, he will never be gone.

There will be a Celebration of Life to remember Bram at a later date.
