Born on January 15, 1945 in Vancouver, BC, Carol Diane Clayton passed away peacefully in Powell River, BC, on April 22, 2016, at the age of 71. She is survived by her daughter Sharon McClinchey, her son Brent (Jackie) McClinchey, grandchildren Colton Maclean and Kyle McClinchey. She is also survived by many great friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all. At her request there will be no service but there is a celebration of her life for friends and family on Saturday, May 14, at 5156 Manson Avenue from 1-3 pm.

Many memories of special times together in years gone by. Carol was our bridesmaid when we married 55 years ago. A beautiful, kind lady. Our prayers are with her family at this time.

Carol has been my dear friend since 1975. Carol was such a kind and loving person. She never complained about anything, she was the best natured person I know and I am happy to have had her as a dear friend. I will always miss her.
