It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Chris Kern; loving husband, father and grandfather. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 25, at Cranberry Seniors’ Centre, 6792 Cranberry Street, Powell River, BC, from 1:30-5:30 pm.

Dear Chris,
Something broke in me when I heard about your passing. You were my role model when I was a little boy growing up in East Germany. Many years later you helped me to move my family to this beautiful country. The ever changing winds of real live had us blown to a different place over time. You are still my role model today.
I will plant a tree in your honour on my farm in a special place so that we will always remember the great and genuine man you were.
Our sincere condolences to Tante Hulda, Susan and sons, Conrad and daughter.
