In loving memory of Claire Louise Chase nee Burgess September 8th 1938-July 8th 2018
Claire was predeceased by her children Douglas, Sandra, Dale & her husband Leslie.
Claire was born in Comox on Vancouver Island, Claire lived in many places on the Island, Denman Island, Squamish, Toba Inlet, Nootka Island & finally Powell River.
Claire went to work in the early 1980’s at Woolworth continued through to Walmart, then worked doing private home care. Claire was involved in many groups & organizations Sorority, Job’s Daughters, Eastern Star& Kiwanis just to name a few & was involved in many others as well. Claire was known for her talents as an amazing cake decorator & seamstress, sewing, crafting & creating beautiful works of art.
Claire leaves behind her loving children Dennis, Daniel, Shelley & Elizabeth.
Twelve grand children & seven great grand children.
Thank you to Dr. Charles Van Zyl & all the nice staff at the Powell River Hospital for caring for our Mom.
A Celebration of life for Claire will be at the Cranberry Seniors Center on September, 8th from 12:00-3:00
