Daniel Antoine Seille

June 15, 1937 - May 17, 2017

Tribute

Daniel Antoine Seille was born on June 15, 1937 in the town of Oloron St-Marie, France. He immigrated from France in the late 60,s to pursue  a life of adventure in the culinary arts, fishing industry and trades.  Highlights of his working career include opening several fine dining establishments, owing and operating fishing vessels and even tiling installations.

His life works were complemented by the arrival of his two beautiful daughters Jennifer King  (Seille) and Tracy Seille, who arrived in the early 70’s.  He instilled European values of family, a love of cooking and nature, and a deep appreciation of Canada, especially the West Coast.  He was able to retire and spend his sunset years in Powell River, B.C.  He will always be lovingly remembered and will remain in the hearts of his family.
