Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dany Legault on March 22, 2026.
Dany was a gentle and kind-hearted man, known for his sensitivity, warmth, and quiet strength. He also had a spunky side that would shine through, bringing smiles to those around him. Despite the challenges he faced throughout his life, he showed remarkable resilience and touched many lives through his genuine and caring nature.
Dany had a deep love for Powell River, a place he proudly called home. He was able to spend his final days there, surrounded by care and compassion, which brought him comfort and peace.
He will be remembered for his heart of gold, his soft spirit, and the unique spark that made him who he was.
He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

My dear cousin Dan. You brought so much joy and laughter into our lives. I’m so glad I got to watch you grow up. You took so much pride in everything you did. One of your favourite outings was coming to the Island to visit your mom & dad. Now you are in heaven with your dad. That gives us some comfort, but boy you will be soooo missed. RIP Dan we will remember you always.
