David Alan Harmer November 4, 1970 – February 10, 2018 It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Dave Harmer. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Cara and John, wife of 23 years Cathy, parents Carol (aka Marci Devereaux) and Ken, brothers Jack (Colleen) and Dan, brother-in-law Troy (Joan), as well as many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and good friends. Dave will be remembered for his infectious smile, witty sense of humour and generous heart. He was loved by many through volunteer firefighting, coaching his son’s sports teams, playing hockey and being a friendly face while working at Inclusion Powell River. A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, February 25, at Jean Pike Centre. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a sports charity of your choice.
