David Gordon Gresty
July 21, 1943 - July 1, 2022
Tribute
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Gresty. He passed away in Powell River General Hospital after a long-fought battle with cancer. David worked in the local mill as an electrician until his retirement. He was a very talented man; he could build or fix anything. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Malaspina Fire Department from 1977 to 2003. More recently, David bought a quad and joined the ATV club, and he was hooked; he found his zen. He loved the backcountry and all it offered. David leaves his wife Heather, daughter Gaylene (Mark), son Bryan, grandsons Brett and Blair (Christina) and brother Dale (Caren). A gathering for David was held at the cemetery in Cranberry on July 9.
