June 25 1951 – January 20, 2019 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Deb Powell. She is survived by her son Travis (Dana), granddaughter Georgia, step-grandchildren Morgan, Sarah and Dawson, ex-husband and friend Peter, brothers Courtney, Terry (Brenda), Wayne (Marlene) and Cam (Michelle), and numerous nieces and nephews. Deb was predeceased by her parents. Next to the love of her life Travis, her passion was work. Grace House has lost an angel. Her hard work and dedication with helping lives find their way will not be forgotten. Thank you to the ICU team for making her last days more comfortable. Another eagle takes flight.

I obviously don’t go to Facebook or the Peak near as often as I should. I recently went to Deb’s Facebook page and when I did, tears came to my eyes and a sadness to my heart to read of her passing. I was one of her Bridesmaids forty-eight years ago and the many memories of years gone by, if we are fortunate enough to remember; always bring a smile.
My deepest sympathies to “ALL” who loved her, and may YOUR memories bring you comfort.
