August 19, 1936 - October 7, 2021
Tribute
It is with deep sorrow that Donna’s family announces her peaceful passing at the age of 85 years following a long and heartbreaking battle with dementia. She is survived by her daughters, Casey (Gary) and Carrie (Keith); son, Rob and daughter-in-law, Liza; brother, Michael (Chris); sister, Lynne (Glen); grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Corinne, Dawn, Richard, Michael, Melissa, and Kristy; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by the love of her life, Neil, in May of this year, and by her beloved son, Jim (Liza) in 2005.
She was a much loved, kind, gentle and determined soul who will be missed by all.
The family would like to thank Dr. Sally Watson, CareAid Brenda Lee and the staff at Willingdon Creek Village for their compassionate care of mom these past years. We would especially like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to our lifelong family friend and nurse Georgina Rae of Willingdon Creek Village whose dedicated support during these final months has been so very much appreciated. Your kindness will always be treasured.
