Doreen passed away peacefully from a recurrence of cancer. She was surrounded by her family in the days preceding her passing.

Mom is survived by her children Dave (Diane), Richard (Gaynor), Cathy and Carol (Rene). She was especial ly proud of her grandchi ldren Lindsay (Nathan), Brent, Kyle, Geoff and Ryan. She is also survived by her sister Velma of Hanley Saskatchewan and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John, parents Cecil and Eleanor and her oldest sister Ethel.

We would like to thank the many friends who have been a part of Mom’s life. She was enriched and encouraged by all of you.

A special thanks to doctors Hoffert, May, Rossouw and White and the caring nursing team in the Powell River General Hospital intensive care unit.
