Dorothy Elizabeth Taylor

May 15, 1919 - June 3, 2015

Tribute

Dorothy passed away on June 3, 2015 in Powell River General Hospital. She was born in Nanaimo, BC, on May 15, 1919.

Dorothy leaves to mourn her loving husband Roger, her sister Winifred Peters of Burnaby, BC, and many loving extended family members and close friends.

Dorothy graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Victoria in 1942. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge and spent many contented hours sewing and reading. Dorothy loved the outdoors and enjoyed many wonderful camping trips.

A warm thank you to all the doctors and nurses for the wonderful care and attention she received. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Powell River General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at 1 pm on Sat-urday, August 15 at Myrtle Point Golf Club.
