Sending our Thoughts & Prayers to the family. So wish that we could be there with everyone.

From: Heather and Guy Gervais
Relation: Personal friend

We were very sad to hear of Esther’s death. For many years both of us considered Esther to be our good friend. It was an honour and pleasure to have known her. In fact, Esther and Earl referred to me as their “other daughter.” These sentiments I will treasure always. Our hearts go out to all the family at this time of loss. Esther will long be remembered for the kind, considerate and caring person that she was. We are sorry that we were unable to attend the tribute to Esther and her life.

From: Kimberly and Elanor Carew
Relation: Grandma and granddaughter

Grandma I started to write this about you, your life and what it meant to me, to us. But there was so much beauty in you and around you that I didn’t know where to begin. So I will write this TO you.
Every day I look at your picture grandma and want so badly to pick up the phone and just be with you for a bit. I miss your faith and your understanding. We miss you. I keep telling myself that your with grandpa now and your on another journey and it will be wonderious for you because that is who you are. And when I speak of you or sometimes just sit and look at the mountains I find myself silently crying but with a smile. Ellie can’t really understand the complexities, but when she looks at me and I say “it’s ok I’m not sad, just missing my friend Grandma” she smiles too. So maybe there are no complexities and SHE’S got it right. As you once told me, “we can learn from her everyday”
We love you. You are forever my lovely, lovely friend. I will continue to lay my head in your lap gram.
Happy travels, give grandpa a big, long hug.
