Tribute

Predeceased by her husband Harry, son Graham and son-in-law Paul. Betty will always remain in the hearts of her son Dave (Heather), daughter Anne, daughter-in-law Trish (and family), grandchildren Amanda (Justin), Mike (Emma), Andrea, Ross (Joanna), Kerri (Marcus) and Sandra, and great-grandchildren Ryder, Oliver, Betty, Ava, Mak, Maeve, Adeline, Cam and Lola.

Betty was born and raised in Powell River, a community she loved. She and Harry enjoyed spending many happy adventures with family and friends on their beloved boat “Tiara”. Many will remember her as Mrs. Hollingsworth, a kind and compassionate primary teacher. She enjoyed playing piano, singing songs and sharing her joy of teaching with her students.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. White for his many years of care and support. We also want to thank the staff at Willingdon Creek Village for their years of wonderful friendship, support and excellent care. Mum was so fortunate to have had all of you looking out for her these past seven years. A special thank-you to the staff in House Five. You’re awesome beyond words.
