Dear Margaret,
I am Doug’s sister, Kathie. I wanted you to know how deeply I am sorry for your loss.
I remember Franklin as a baby, and I remember when my family visited Powell River in 1999 and we invited Franklin and a friend on a deep sea fishing expedition. I am so glad we did, and I got to see him again. The picture Doug sent me of a beautiful young man, with many beautiful tattoos, was so appreciated. The baby, the boy, the man. I’m glad I could glimpse all three. Again, please accept my deepest condolences, your friend, Kathie
