Tribute
Mass of Christian Burial for the late Frederick (Fred) Charles Rhodes will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, January 31 at Church of the Assumption. Prayers will be said at 7 pm Friday evening, also at Church of the Assumption.

Our hearts were saddened to hear of Uncle Fred’s passing. May the Lord be with all the family. Glen says he will always remember the fun times I had with Uncle Fred & cousins when they were stationed on SaltSpring Island. He remembers going out fishing on a boat named We Bailing Too. Sorry we can’t make the memorial but our hearts and prayer will be with you all.

I knew Fred when he lived in Hinton, as he was very active in the Knights of Columbus, and was the Grand Knight. My sons and I also participated in a KofC curling bonspeil, in Camrose, with Fred. “You have run the race, Fred, and so may you rest in peace. (I think I have some videos of Fred, for anyone who’s interested.
