Tribute
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a great man. Gary was a very strong man. After a serious illness he lived for ten years for his family. He lived his last six years at Willingdon Creek Village. It was home to him and he liked his Nurses and Care Aids.
Gary was predeceased by his parents Clyde and Leona and his older brother Camber. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Diane and his children Tara Clark (Greg), Tammy McDonald (Terry), Tracy, Trina Langille (Jerad) and Dan (Pamela). He is also survived by his grandchildren Candice, Tyler, Jennifer, Brody, Ziggy and Austen, his great granddaughter Gracie, brother Sherry and sister Audrey.
Gary was a well respected sheet metal worker in both the mill and the town of Powell River. He played lots of sports such as softball and hockey. After he retired he started playing golf which he very much enjoyed. He also had a mischievous way and a good sense of humour.
Thank you to Dr. Chris Morwood, Erin Berukoff NP and the staff at Willingdon Creek Village. You are the best!
