It is with great sadness that we share the news of Gerry’s death on December 8, 2021. He leaves us with a legacy of generosity of time and spirit and a wonderful sense of humour. He is predeceased by his wife, Wendy; parents, Jean and Gordie House; and other beloved family members. He is survived by his daughter, Kyla; sisters, Sue, Kathy (Ron) and Tracey (Alan); nephews and nieces; other family and friends; and his devoted companion Dakota. The family is very grateful for the care and compassion of Gerry’s doctors and the medical and nursing staff of the Ambulatory Care Unit of Powell River Hospital.
We will celebrate Gerry’s life and legacy with a barbecue on Saturday, July 2, between 1 pm and 4 pm at 4409 Myrtle Avenue. Wear plaid (Gerry would).

I am so sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing. I have fond thoughts of him in high school & sea cadets. He was an expert mechanic!
