Tribute
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Gordie at Vancouver General Hospital at age 77. Gordie was born March 12, 1941, in Vancouver and passed away on December 21, 2018, in Vancouver. He was predeceased by his brother Jim. Gordie leaves behind to mourn his daughter Joanne and sons Paul (Tracy) and David (Lynette), sister Kathy, brothers Ed, Don, Ken and Rick, grandchildren Kristy, Travis, Trevor and Dylan and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Parkview 5th floor and staff at Vancouver General Hospital for the loving care they gave to Gordie over the last four months. No service by request. There will be a family gathering in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Alzheimer Society of Canada or Parkinson’s Foundation would be appreciated.
