December 19, 1944 - June 3, 2017

Tribute

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Gord. He is now reunited with our mother, his love of 55 years, and we take comfort in that. Gord is survived by his children Rob (Delane) and Tammy (Bob), grandchildren Mark, Jordan, Brooke, Ashley and Diesel, siblings Frank (Diane), Dorthy, Carolyn, Mike, Sandy (Mark), Doug (Della) and Evan (Sharon), as well as his sister-in-law Maureen (Charlie), cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will take place from 1-3 pm on Sunday, June 25, at Lang Bay Community Hall, 11090 Highway 101, Lang Bay. A special thank you to Doctor Marentette for her care of Gord throughout the years. We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff at Powell River General Hospital for his care over the past two months. Memorial donations may be made in Gord’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Forever in our hearts.
