Tribute
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather, Gordon Cyril Osmond, after a lengthy illness due to stroke.
Survived by his wife of 56 years Irene, son Jeff (Diane), daughter Karen (Bill), grandsons John (Alicia), Brad (Mara) and great-grandchildren Liam, Avah and Blake. He is also survived by his brother Joe and sisters Pearl and Julia.
He was predeceased by his parents Violet and Cyril and son Perry as well as his brothers Jack and Levi and sisters Ann, Kittie and Margaret.
Gord was born in Port Aux Basques, NL and moved to Powell River with his family in 1980. Gord was an active volunteer with the Wildwood fire department and the Salvation Army as well as being a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at ECU where he resided for the past 12 years, Dr. Marentette and the Stroke Recovery Club.
