Harry Luther Lundquist

Tribute
Born in Prince Rupert, Harry served in the Canadian Navy from September 1939 to 1945. He came to Powell River in August 1945 and worked on the wharf at the mill until he retired in 1983.
Harry's passions were travel and reading. He was a wealth of knowledge, but you had to ask. He was a quiet, gentle man who enjoyed travelling the world with Louise, his wife of 75 years.
Harry leaves behind Louise and daughters Deanna Anderson of Victoria, BC, and Marlene (Ken) Skorey of Powell River, six grandchildren Tina (Darryl) Price, Michelle Iorio, Steve (Nikki) Skorey, Jeff (Dyan) Anderson, Mike Skorey and Terril (Dennis) Rados, 12 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to all the staff who helped care for Harry this past year.
A special thank you to Dr. Marentette and our dear friends and neighbours. There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers please donate to our local hospice.
