Tribute

Roy Hubert Tipper, January 20, 1922 – January 14, 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Tipper at Powell River General Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret and his sisters Jenny Escott and Irene Tipper. He is survived by his stepsons George (Lorraine) and Robert (Lucette), their children and grandchildren and two nieces.

Roy was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Royal Air Force. He then served in the Australian Air Force and Canadian Air Force, for a total of 32 years.

We would like to thank Dr. Naude, the nurses and staff at Powell River General Hospital for their compassionate care and also Eva Tillinger and Bernice Pantusa for the excellent home care during the past six months.

There will be no service as requested. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Powell River General Hospital Foundation.
