I miss Grandma (fondly named by my son at age 3). When we first met Hugette was the age that I am now. I had recently moved to Powell River and didn’t know anyone but in a short time I was made to feel welcome thanks to her and felt like part of her family. I am sorry for all of you Denise, Lynn, Marcell( sorry if not spelt right), and Guy. Your mother was a beautiful person. A kind, listening ear, but sometimes with her great wisdom would make me rethink many decisions. We have a lot of good memories, that this week I have been reliving. I miss Hugette very much. It is unfortunately a long way for me to travel and with the winter road conditions I will not be attending on the 16th, but my thoughts will be with you. I am blowing up a balloon that day and will be releasing it in her memory in Prince George.

We were very sorry to hear of aunt Huguette’s passing. We now, even more so, are happy to have had the chance to spend a day with her in Vancouver a few years ago. We enjoyed each other’s company very much. Our deepest condolences go to Guy, Line, Denise and Marcel.
