Dear Gillian and family. : My heart and prayers go out to you all. The shock we are experiencing as a medical community is a pale shadow of yours, I am sure. We only met a few times, but the close bond you had with Ian was so clear. Nothing prepares us for sudden loss of any nature,and only time and God helps,in some measure..

Dear Gillian
We received the tragic news with shock. Elena and I, as indeed do every member of the South West Nova Medical Staff, send our deepest sympaty to you and your family in these painful times. In the few months that we had the privelege to meet and work with Ian, he struck us as a gentle, loving and very deeply spiritual man. He was for us a joy to work with. All our Staff at Diagnostic Imaging in Yarmouth concur – we lost a decent and wonderful person. How you must greive his passing. Even for us, who only knew him briefly it is most distressing – far more you and your family whose acute loss we join in mourning. It goes without saying that you are in our constant prayer as is Ian. If there is a merciful God ( and I am reliably informed this is so) then he must be in a place of peace and perpetual happiness from which even now he looks down at you with love and prayerful support. God bless you and your family.
