James Arthur “Jimmy” Statham, August 24, 1939 – November 8, 2012
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Jimmy (Papa), predeceased by his parents Alfred and Zubah, in-laws Joe and Olga, sister-in-law Susan and brother-in-law Godfrey.
After a 17-year battle with cancer, his legacy of love includes his wife of 51 years Antida Statham (née Tanti), sons Fred (Caron) and Ken (Debbie), grandchildren Adam (Chris), Aaron, Ashlin (Adam), Joshua (Elise), Mallory (Matthew), great-grandchildren Kaleb, Elijah and Jacob, siblings Loretta (Wilmer) Biffard, Margaret (Rod) Keech, Alan (Pauline) Statham and Cheryl (Bud) Smith, generations of cousins, nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Jimmy “Hoseclamp” was a mechanic in Stillwater Division and at the Powell River mill, spending his retirement “on call” to all who knew him, never asking for a thing in return. He was an avid fisherman and hockey fan who left us with many warm and happy memories.

Dad, when you passed away so gracefully I was happy that you died at home. I prepared myself the best I could for Nov. 8th, 2012. However, your passing left me so sad. I have missed you so much.As we come to the 1st Anniversary of your passing, I am FINALLY ready to TURN THE PAGE and BE MY OWN MAN………like you told me on Nov. 1st, 2012. Thank you, Dad, for dedicating the majority of your life to Ken and I. Love, Fred.
