Tribute

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of James “Doug” Holmwood. He was born in Powell River on March 6, 1931 to Allan and Marjorie. His father was the first principal of Cranberry Lake School.
Doug leaves behind his wife Bunny, sons Scott and Allan, daughter Lee-Ann, and two grandchildren: Christopher and Sarah.
Doug spent his working life in the woods on the west coast. There will be no service by request. A family activity will follow.
