James William Watt

September 15, 1956 - November 22, 2021

Tribute

James William Watt passed away peacefully at home with close friends nearby. He was predeceased by his father Tom, his brother Don and his mother Marjorie. Jim is survived by his uncle George and aunt Wanda Cook of Vancouver. Also left to mourn are his chosen family and friends: Shawn (Heather) Hegan and their children Kyle and Jae, and Mark (Lisa) Johnson and Mark’s children Jack, Alex and Kyra. Jim attended Max Cameron Senior Secondary School and then worked in the Powell River mill for over 35 years before retiring in April 2015. He was an avid flyer and active member of the flying club for many years, and also developed a love of golf. Jim had a generous heart and was always there to help out in any way he could, and opened his home for Christmas dinners and many poker nights with friends. He is deeply missed. No service by request.
