It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean, she was unexpectedly taken from us on September 17, 2011. Jean was pre-deceased by husband Ron in 1987 and son Garry in 2010. She is survived by daughters, Anne (Tom) McCartney, Deb Swain, Diane (Tom) Schrauwen and Gail Swain; grandchildren, Brenda Monczko, Darlene McCartney, Allen McCartney, Tanya Swain and Ashley Swain; great-grandchildren, Laura and Michael Monczko, Johnny and Sarah Vliegenthart and many other family and friends. There will be a celebration of life held at The Town Centre Hotel, 4660 Joyce Ave, on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2:00pm. There will be a reception to follow the service.
