Jennifer passed away suddenly at her home in Powell River, British Columbia on November 7, 2021. She was 50.
Beloved daughter of Martha Franklin and Scott Davidson and stepmother Marg Davidson. Dear mother to Jaycob Poirier and Storm Neville. Half-sister to Rachel Mooney (Jason), Amanda Owen (Kevin) and Melanie Davidson. Pre-deceased by her grandfather, The Reverend Robert Jervis-Read and her grandparents Patricia Ann and James Crockett Davidson of Sherbrooke, QC. Survived by her grandmother Naomi Jervis-Read.
Jennifer spent almost half her life near the BC coast. She loved boating and was an accomplished sailor and boat builder as well as an expert in boat repairs. She thrived in the outdoors and spent a lot of time foraging for wild mushrooms and berries to create signature dishes.
She loved music and enjoyed curating Spotify playlists for friends and family. She was seldom found without the company of her pet ferrets which she had rescued.
Jennifer will be missed by her many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends and especially her long-time partner, Jason Simms.
