John (Jack) Wilson

Tribute

Surrounded by his family, Jack passed away peacefully August 15, 2013. Born April 25, 1927 in Cookstown, Northern Ireland, Jack was predeceased by both his parents, Samuel and Martha Wilson, brothers Bob, Gerald and Edgar, and sisters Lily and Dorothy. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Jean and daughters Colleen ( Trevor), Glenda (Phil), sons Robin (Shirley) Maurice (Christine), one grandson in Australia, six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter in Powell River. Jack is also survived by brother Ivan (Muriel), sisters Violet and Iris (Robert) and many more brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews in Canada and Northern Ireland.

Special thanks to sisters-in-law Margaret and Hilary for their support and special thanks to nurses Jodi and Thea for their wonderful care and Rev. Maxine Pirie. In lieu of flowers,
