Tribute
It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing our beloved father Joseph Psaila; born September 24, 1933 in Cospicua, Malta and died April 15, 2018 in Powell River, British Columbia. He was predeceased by his wife Lily, brothers Salvino, Lino and daughter-in-law Linda. Left to mourn are his three children Raymond (Sherry), Joe (Suzette) and Mary Grace (Bradley); grandchildren Jennifer (Ray), Skyler, Curtis, Rachel (Ken), Vanessa (Kyle) and Ryan; great-grandchildren Memphis, Daelin, Paxton and Ariana. He is also survived by his brother Jerry (Carmen) in Malta and sister Rita (Bob) in Toronto and many nieces and nephews.
Dad had a love for cars. All his working years were as a mechanic and more than anything he loved driving his sports cars. We will miss you dearly Dad…Keep on cruising!
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 23 at 10:30 am from the Church of the Assumption with burial at Powell River Regional District Cemetery. Following the service at the cemetery there will be a reception held at St. Joseph’s Hall.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in his name to the Kidney Foundation of Canada/ BC and Yukon Branch or a charity of your choice

I am very sorry to hear of Joes passing. He was a great friend of my parents, Lillian and Andy Crawford. I always enjoyed having a passing greeting with him in the mall over the years after I returned to Powell River.
