Jurgen Eduard Beatus Crasemann

April 15, 1925 - December 3, 2010


With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Jurgen (Ditch) Crasemann on December 3, 2010. He was predeceased by his wife Rita. He is survived by his son Tom, his daughter Sylvia, daughter-in-law Liana, son-in-law Martin, and his grandchildren Jennifer and Giuliana. Jurgen, a patent attorney, was born in Hamburg, Germany and lived part of his life there, before moving to Sydney, Australia, and then back to Germany. He made his final move to his country of choice, Canada in 1974. He spent his winters in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with all his dear friends.
There will be no service at Jurgen’s request. Please raise your glass in his honour. We would like to thank Dr. Schweitzer and the caring nurses of Powell River General Hospital and Evergreen Extended Care Unit for helping him through the final part of life.Goodbye to a true gentleman.
