Kathleen Hooff
October 7, 1943 - May 24, 2011
Tribute
It is with sad hearts that we announce Kathy”s passing on May 24, 2011. She will be missed every day by her beloved husband, Brent, who was the love of her life. Her children Sheryl, Tami, Gerry and Denise will always remember sitting at the table playing cards and eating her homemade butter tarts. Kathy was so very proud of her 13 grandchildren and her one great-grandchild. Her siblings Josie, Theresa and John were her solid support system but she will be missed by the many people in her extended family and friends.
Kathy was born in Trail, BC on October 7, 1943. She raised her family in Langley, BC while pursuing a successful career with Revenue Canada. Ultimately, she retired in Powell River, the place she always considered home, with her very best friend, Brent.
Kathy lived her life without regrets and we know she is now in the arms of her parents, Mina Goldman and Joseph Chisholm. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 13 at noon at the Royal Canadian Legion, Powell River. Tea to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
