Tribute
Kathy passed away peacefully with family by her side. She will be missed by so many but none more than her children, Kelly and Stacey, and those who were her “family,” the clans Shaw, MacLennan and of course Fletcher (and by extension Howard and Williams).
She will miss her “step” (we try not to use that word) grandkids, who she took great delight in. Kathy was known for her dazzling smile, her love of singing (and associated tendency to burst into song at any given moment), her love of painting, her devotion to her pets and her endless optimism.
We can all learn from her attitude towards life: “Just choose to be happy.” She lived by that motto and spread happiness as a result.
No service or flowers by request, but go and give someone a big, squishy hug. Ma would love that.
