Kathleen Patricia Brown
November 27, 1950 - September 29, 2013
Tribute
Kathleen suddenly passed away on September 29, 2013 at the age of 62 at Vancouver General Hospital while receiving treatment for leukemia.
She was born on November 27, 1950 to Ken and Alma (née Bell) Brown in Powell River and was the oldest of seven children.
Kathleen is survived by her mother Alma (Frank), siblings David (Pearl), Norman, Iris, Robert (Cynthia), Trudy (Dave) and Kenneth. She is also survived by her daughters Nikki (Russell) Werner and Cindi (Troy) Graf and grandchildren Rhys, Dylan, Morgan and Taylor.
She spent a number of years working and living in the Lower Mainland and other locations in BC but her heart never left her hometown and she was fortunate to return to live in Powell River for the last eight years. She enjoyed her career in the construction industry and loved working on her home and yard, all the while being kept company by her loving dog and companion Jake.
