Kathryn Anne Corbett

Tribute
Kathy passed away peacefully at Powell River General Hospital with family members by her bedside, after a hard fought battle with cancer.
Kathy was born in Kimberley, BC, and several years later the Corbett family moved to Powell River in 1950. Kathy graduated from Max Cameron High School in 1965, then attended Simon Fraser University. After living in Germany for several years, she returned to Canada to live in Ottawa before moving to Vancouver, where she continued to raise her children Kim and Shawn and continued her career in the banking industry. After retiring as a branch manager she returned to Powell River, where she spent her last years tutoring, golfing, travelling, reconnecting with old friends, making new ones and walking Inland Lake trail with her brother.
Predeceased by her parents Jack and Patricia Corbett, Kathy is survived by husband Butch Harrold, her children Shawn (Erin) Sarson and Kim (Mel) Sarson and her brother Jake Corbett. Other relatives include Aunt Norma Corbett, cousins Debbie (Bob) Corbett Davis, Gord (Maureen) Mattson and Barb (Jim) Mattson McKinley.
No service by request. In lieu of flowers donations in Kathy's memory may be made to the Oncology Unit at Powell River General Hospital, 5000 Joyce Avenue, Powell River, BC, V8A 5R3. (Thank you, for Kathy.)
