From: Tara Peterson
Relation: She was my Aunty

Michael, Kerry, Karen, Holly and Family: – Cousins, my condolences on the passing of your mom. As cousins, we have had some wonderful moments being with you and Aunty and Uncle and along with Gramma on the farm. My most cherished moments were us kids coming to see Gramma of course on a Sunday for dinner and all of us kids together there. There was always something to do – somehow I think Aunty and Uncle liked it when we came out – another 6 more kids to help with chores and churning butter! But time well spent, Aunty or Gramma always had a wonderful meal. I cherish the summer vacations I had coming to spend with you all – the horseback riding, the forts we made from hale bales, the best garden and flowers. I loved Aunty’s English accent of course, but she always had these neat little sayings of expression. Aunty Kathryn also educated me as a child with her knowledge of plants, flowers and along with Uncle Ray there was always something new to learn from my stays there……..they were special. A memory that sticks close in my mind these days is Aunty was always humming a song while doing chores. Thanks for the memories, Aunty ….I light my memorial candle for you and your new journey as an Angel among us with Uncle Ray and Colin.
