BROWN: Born June 10, 1930 in New Westminster, BC Kenneth Albert Brown passed away June 16, 2012 in Powell River, BC. Age 82 years. He is survived by his loving wife Doreen, children Jim (Reino), Ken (Jill), Stan (Jean), Mike (Pat) all of Powell River, Dave (Dana) of Maple Ridge and Scott of Fort St. John. He is also survived by his sister Joyce Knoop (Vern) of Cloveredale, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m. from Powell River United Church. The Rev. Maxine Pirie officiating. Flowers gratefully declined. Arrangements entrusted to Stubberfield Funeral Home Ltd..

Relation: All my life
Good friends are the family you choose! Uncle Ken was just that to myself Sharon and Bob. He gave me my first dog, a Shepard from his male he had when I was a preteen, before we moved away! All of us, who are now Adults with children and grandchildren of our own still call him Uncle Ken. This is how important a person he was and will always be to us in our hearts.
We are all so saddened by his passing and draw a bit of comfort in knowing such a wonderful man, husband, father, Uncle and Grandpa!
