Kieron William Brunlees

March 20, 1966 - June 29, 2019

Tribute

“On June 29, 2019, Kieron William Brunlees passed away doing what he loved best – camping, fishing and quading with his best friend, partner in crime and soulmate of 33 years, Tracy.

Kieron was born in Halifax Nova Scotia on March 20, 1966, to Kenita and William (Bill) Brunlees, both of whom have passed on. Survived by his sister Laurel (Jason Brown) and their children Courtney and Kyle. He was also survived by his nephew Kenneth son of his predeceased brother Kelly Brunlees.

Kieron was deeply loved by his wife of 30 years Tracy and their two children Alexandra (Thomas Francyzk) and Kristopher (Cassidy Brunlees). Kieron will also be greatly missed by his three grandsons – Theodore, Nathan, and Matthew. He will be missed by his two dogs, Jade and Sophie and Cassidy’s two cats Leonidas and Mercedes; who knew he had a soft spot in his heart for animals.

An avid reader and philosopher in his own mind, Kieron loved talking to folks from around the world on his HAM radio. He was a well-known renaissance man around the house that knew so much obscure information his daughter called him a philosophical guru.

We are forever grateful to Dan and Claudia, uncle Gerry, Barb, Gina, and Peter and Gisela for their immense support during this difficult time. We would also like to thank the countless family members and friends who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time. Kieron would be humbled to see how many people loved him and how much he will be missed.

Live long and prosper, Kieron; we miss you and we love you.

“Some people live more in twenty years than others do in eighty. It’s not the time that matters, it’s the person.” – Dr. Who “
