Larry was a kind friend and a humane thinker. I respected him a lot.
From: Andrew Stewart
Relation: work colleague
Dear Sandra and family, please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. I knew Larry for many years as a government work colleague. And I have many, many fond memories of field trips with Larry working in various wilderness areas of BC. I have never met a more dedicated, easy going, and agreeable person to work with. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Relation: I worked with Larry
Working with Larry was a treat. He was always cheerful, willing and got the job done. We also enjoyed socializing with Larry, Sandra and the boys.
From: Ted and Lora Lea
Relation: Work mate
Sandra, Ricardo, Joel and families – we were very sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. I had the pleasure to travel many parts of British Columbia with Larry, doing field work, including the East Kootenay, Fort St. John, Stikine River, Telegraph Creek and Flathead areas (which Lora joined us). Wonderful memories! Our thoughts are with you. Ted and Lora Lea

Relation: work colleague
My thoughts are with Larry’s family: I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Larry for a few years and was always impressed that he was such a hard worker but still a kind and gentle man. We had some interesting conversations on the challenges of parenthood, he sounded like such a great father.
From: Irene Irmgard Stewart
Relation: Husband's Colleague friend
I have fond memories of Larry and Andy traveling and rooming together during the heydays of their provincial inventory field work. Sandra, Ricardo and Joel you might remember helping me, Brad and Laura pick the abundant crop of apples and pears on our fruit trees while the “guys” were inevitably away “working” in the field : )
At this difficult time may you find strength in your warm memories of Larry and may he live on in all our hearts. My deepest sympathies – Irene
