Leslie Anthony Uher

Passed Dec 7th 2014
Leslie passed away peacefully at the Powell River General Hospital.
Leslie was born in Louny, Czechoslovakia and came to Canada as a young man.
He leaves behind nieces and nephews in the Czech Republic, as well as many friends in Canada and Europe.
Les was a gentleman and a scholar in many ways.
He was a very private humble man that loved to travel the world.
He had a deep love for art, photography, gardening, reading, and nature.
Leslie spent most of his working life as a contract accountant with his roots taking final hold on Texada Island.
Special thank you to Dr. Kevin Black and his staff at the Texada Medical Centre for all of their support, to the Powell River General Hospital and their staff, and Texada Ambulance attendants.
At his request there will be no service.
