Liliana Bombardir
July 20, 1923 - August 25, 2016
Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, nana and great-nana Liliana. She was born in Ravenna, Italy, and passed away in Powell River. Liliana was predeceased by her husband Tony in 2009. She is survived by her son Fabio (Barb), daughter Rita (Michael), grandchildren Pamela (Steve), Gregory (Rose), Adam and Amanda and great-granddaughter Olivia. Liliana enjoyed cooking special meals for her family. She passed on some of her recipes for Italian peaches, orange soup and lemon cake and taught Pamela to make the peaches. We wish to thank all the staff at Evergreen Care Unit for all their care and help with Liliana. Also, thanks to Dr. Andreae, the priest for his visits, and for the support from our family and friends. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal. God bless you, Mom. May you rest in peace.
