Lillian May Bruce (Burton)

Tribute
Lillian left us peacefully on March 24th, to go be with the love of her life Tom and middle child Jimmy. She leaves behind 2 children: Sherry (Dan) Hatch and Donald Bruce. 3 grandchildren: Dave (Nan) Hatch, Melissa (Mike) Boisvert and Douglas Hatch. As well as many great grandchildren. She started her life in Langenburg, Saskatchewan but at an early age came out west to Oliver, BC where she spent her childhood on the family orchard. She met Tom and they were married in 1954 and move to Powell River. She happily spent the remainder of her life here.
We would like to send out a special thanks to Drs. Schweitzer/Bonsor, the amazing staff at Kiwanis Garden Manor, Powell River General and St. Paul’s hospitals.
